Way up high in the apple tree

We have apple shapes that we have drawn simple facial expressions on: smile, tears (sad), sleepy (yawn), angry, surprised. We have two of each expression.
We make them out of paper, laminate them and attach magnets to the back or you can go traditional and make them out of felt.
We adapt it to other seasons or objects, 2 little snowflakes, 2 little candy canes, two little leaves, etc.

We put two up and do the following rhyme:

Way up high in the apple tree (adjust for others - maple tree, Christmas tree)
Two little apple "smiled" (whatever word is appropriate) at me
I shook that tree as hard as I could
Down came the apples, mmmmmm, were they good!
